I’ve been working in the business intelligence field since 2008 and I’ve loved every second of it! There’s not a day that goes by that I’m not thankful to God for how much fun my work is! Whether I’m designing a data warehouse, overcoming some tricky ETL problems, building an SSAS cube, or coming up with just the right reporting solution, I’m happy to be doing what I do.
Working as a Business Intelligence Consultant for Pragmatic Works has allowed me to gain an immense amount of experience in a very short amount of time. Working with many different clients has allowed me to grow in both professional and personal capacities.
My experience primarily surrounds the Microsoft stack of business intelligence products, including:
I’ve also earned my MCTS: SQL Server 2008 BI Developement/Maintenance and MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 certifications.
I’ve provided business intelligence solutions for many clients in the healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, and retail industries, among many others. I’ve also done technical editing for WROX Press and have spoken at community events such as Jacksonville .NET Code Camp and SQL Saturday.
